Our Farmshop & Kitchen sits outside Douglas, about an hour north of the Border, near the intersection between the M74 and A70.
In our Kitchen we make food from scratch as you would make it at home.
We use traditional recipes and real ingredients, including meat, fish, bread, eggs and milk from local producers.
In our Farmshop we celebrate exceptional produce and champion Scottish craftsmanship.
We work closely with a community of farmers and makers, including more than 90 in our local area and across Scotland.
Cairn Lodge Services was built in the early 1990s by entrepreneurs John and Aileen MacInnes.
They built it next to Cairn Lodge, the eighteenth-century gatehouse of the now-derelict Douglas Castle.
We are now part of the Westmorland Family, a family-run motorway services business that grew out of a Cumbrian hill farm.
Together with our sister businesses Tebay Services on the M6 and Gloucester Services on the M5, we were named the UK’s top three service stations by Which? in 2021.

Our business grew out of a Cumbrian farm.
